My Spelling Bee
On April 6th I went to a spelling bee!! The year before I wasn't so successful. I had got my first word wrong: stint. This year I went to the Junior level from 9-11. The words were way harder. I studied and studied and reviewed my list. I couldn't have made it to the tie-breaker round without my family, friends, and teachers. This year, I think I improved A LOT. The word I got wrong this time was largess, meaning generosity in bestowing money or gifts upon others. I spelled l-a-r-j-e-s-t . I didn't win, but I came in the last seven people. Thank you everyone who supported me during my spelling bee including my dad, my mom, my siblings, my grandma, my grandpa, Inez, Zelia, Auntie Lisa, and Uncle Mario for cheering me on! This post is specially for my dad, to thank him for helping me study for the spelling bee(even though you made me cry sometimes😘🤣🤣) !!
