Adventures with Adele: A Journey of Discovery

July 14th was a very, very eventful day. I'll start with the first thing I did on that day:                                                       Me and my friend's Triathlon!!!! (Starting from left to right) Joelle, Fireese, Inez, and I getting ready to start!! We were all in the age group 10-11, but Joelle and Fireese were in one wave and me and Inez in the other wave. We were all waiting nervously for our waves to get called😓😓 !! It didn't feel very long though. After Joelle and Fireese started swimming, our wave was called!We had to swim 100m (4 lengths), bike 5 km, and run 1.5 km. After I swam I sort of ran to the bike transition!! In the middle of biking I accidently fell and scratched myself pretty badly and I have these huge bruises still. Me biking for 5km! Next was the running part. I was really tired then. Me with my Apple Pie A few days ago I made my first Apple Pie! I got my recipe from a book called The Girl's Book of Adventures. It was not that exact though... But the pie was still OK. I didn't know a pie would be that hard to make!! First I had to peel and cut 2 apples and put them in a bowl. Thanks Gu Ma for helping me with that! Then I had to make the dough (There was so much sugar in the recipe so I put less). Next I had to knead the dough and put it into a pie pan. After that, we had to make some kind of sauce or something for the apples. HH (Athan) helped me mix all the dough and stuff.  Also, Gu Jeung gave me cool tips on how to do stuff and helped me figure out the dough and everything. Lastly, we put it in the oven for 25 minutes!! I was sooo impatient and I kept looking at the timer.🤣🤣When it was ready, I was sad because Anne Anne was sleeping (she fell asleep in the middle of dinner), so she couldn't eat the pie! Us in the Airnb house!  To start our summer vacation, my dad booked us the best trip ever (not counting mosquito bites)! On Wednesday we drove to Blue Mountain from Mississauga. It was around 2 hours and it was pretty fun during the car ride, mostly because Amelia didn't cry a lot and we were playing cards🃏🃏. When we arrived at our airnb house Athan was really happy because once we went into a motel and Athan said, "That's it??" So when we got into the house we realized that the kids room had another room connected to it which was the washroom! Even my parent's room didn't have that! We all just started fooling around and jumping on beds and everything!! We had an epic pillow fight with all of us! We don't really know who won but it was either me or Athan.
