Blue Mountain!

 To start our summer vacation, my dad booked us the best trip ever (not counting mosquito bites)! On Wednesday we drove to Blue Mountain from Mississauga. It was around 2 hours and it was pretty fun during the car ride, mostly because Amelia didn't cry a lot and we were playing cards🃏🃏. When we arrived at our airnb house Athan was really happy because once we went into a motel and Athan said, "That's it??" So when we got into the house we realized that the kids room had another room connected to it which was the washroom! Even my parent's room didn't have that! We all just started fooling around and jumping on beds and everything!! We had an epic pillow fight with all of us! We don't really know who won but it was either me or Athan. Here is a picture:

After that, we all wanted to go swimming!! Woo hoo!!🏊‍♀️🏊‍♀️ 

The swimming pool was around a five minute walk!! 


Unfortunately, the wading(shallow) pool wasn't open so Anne and Audrey had to go into the big pool. It was so much fun! Athan and I had a splash fight. And even Amelia came into the water and joined us!! 
After the swim, we were all coldd and shivering. 🥶🥶We quickly ran back to the house and took a nice, warm shower. 🚿🚿 While we were showering, daddy was barbcuing and cooking our dinner for us: pasta and barbecued chicken. Yum!

After our bellies were full, we went to sleep for the first time since we came to Blue Mountain.🗻

The next day, we were going hiking!!



But first, we had to fill our stomachs and have lunch!! There was a cool breeze so it was really nice sitting outside and eating with family!


First, I thought hiking was going to be really fun. I was wrong. All because of those pesky mosquitos. 😡😡

I got bitten about four times, but other than that and the heat, it was really fun!!

After our hiking trip, Athan, Audrey and I were arguing to go to the beach or pool. Me and Athan won, so we went to the pool! Audrey was always afraid of deep water so she was pretty whiny. But... when we got to the pool, she found out the wading pool(shallow pool for toddlers )was open!!
We all had a lot of fun splashing around. I think that was my favorite day in Blue Mountain!!

And... after the pool, we all got delicious ice creams!! Amelia really loved them.

The next day, I couldn't believe that it was our last day at Blue Mountain!! It had gone by so fast. I really think it was a good way to start off our summer vacation. 

But! That's not all! We all decided to go walk in the streets for a bit. We saw a frozen yogurt shop but we didn't get any. We got 
Beavertails instead.

Part 3 of My Birthday is going to Canada's Wonderland!! THis was another gift from my aunt!! My Very First Triathlon and Lyanna's First Birthday!!!

July 14th was a very, very eventful day. I'll start with the first thing I did on that day:                                                       Me and my friend's Triathlon!!!! (Starting from left to right) Joelle, Fireese, Inez, and I getting ready to start!! We were all in the age group 10-11, but Joelle and Fireese were in one wave and me and Inez in the other wave. We were all waiting nervously for our waves to get called😓😓 !! It didn't feel very long though. After Joelle and Fireese started swimming, our wave was called!We had to swim 100m (4 lengths), bike 5 km, and run 1.5 km. After I swam I sort of ran to the bike transition!! In the middle of biking I accidently fell and scratched myself pretty badly and I have these huge bruises still. Me biking for 5km! Next was the running part. I was really tired then. I still ran though. It was pretty good. I poured a cup of water on my head since I was so hot!!  When I was done I was really exhausted b
