Life in Quarantine

Hi!! This is Adele and today I will show you The Wong's:

Life in Quarantine!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

1. Shellshock.io

Shell Shockers Survey
Well, our cousins, Nick, Ben, and Jess introduced me and HH (Athan) to Shellshock! You can find it here: shellshock.io . So, we gave it up for Lent, along with YouTube, and now we're back at it!! Just playing shellshock! It's not very productive, so my dad told us, to play 30 minutes of shellshock, we would have to code for 30 minutes.

2. Scratch

Scratch - About

As said above, to play shellshock, we would have to code. Not code like write a lot of lines and you know, like those millions lines of code not like this: How to stop lines of code from automatically shifting to the next ...

Instead, it would be like this. Simple logic:
color outlined code for easier coding and finding of scripts ...

Just blocks you can connect by dragging. Here's the link if you want to check it out: scratch.mit.edu

3. Online School

As most schools have right now, we have online school. Online school, for me, has it's pros and cons.

Pros:

  • You can wake up later than usual
  • You can have breakfast while class, just turn off your camera
  • Some other stuff that I can't think of right now
Cons:

  • Teachers can mute you
  • We somehow get more homework
  • We don't get to do fun activities anymore
  • We have to look at slideshows
  • Siblings are really noisy, and make background noise
So, if you ask me, I like real school better, at school.

4. Baking

And, no, we didn't bake these.

Actually, today, we tried to make some macarons... they turned out okay, but it was actually pretty good for the first time.

Also, a few weeks ago, I got up in the morning, and was super bored, so I thought, "Why don't I bake some banana muffins??"

So I did without help for my sisters and mom. It was stressful, and fun at the same time.

5. Online Mass

Online Mass isn't the same as Mass at church.

Online Mass is different.

In Online Mass, you can pause the priest, you don't have to worry about being in pajamas, and much more.

Well, that's it for now!!
